My New Boots

So i'm not quite the rodeo girl, but i am one to keep up with fashion (sometimes) and cowboy boots are hot right now. Luckily- instead of paying a trillion dollars like they are going for (brand new) in the big city, I found these during a leisurely afternoon at value village. Yep these secondhand beauties only cost me $12.99. Plus, they are so comfortable I can actually run in them. Posted by Picasa

Scooby Doo

Scooby's new favourite place to take a load off... now that i have time, scooby and i often take advantage to the quiet house during the day and veg on the couch. Obviously if he had an opposable thumb, he'd clearly be taking pictures of me also. Posted by Picasa

Scooby and his girlfriend

Scooby and his Girlfriend

This is Scooby's girlfriend.. the Cat. He actually barks everynight around midnight to go outside because that is when she usually makes her entrance into our backyard. Although this picture was her making an appearance at dusk. Posted by Picasa

SOOOE EXCITED!!!

So its just been confirmed- we are camping in Iqaluit this summer for 1 week!
first we are staying 1 night in a hotel, then the next day, we are meeting a guy who we've become very familiar with over the past few weeks via email, and heading out to his camp- equipped with a couple of cabins, and ATVs. For the next 4 days, we'll be canoeing, fishing, and .. oo maybe even DOG SLEDDING!!! .. the Menu: Caribou, Char, and Kraft Dinner- but.. not too much butter, as it costs 5$/pound!
ALso- there are no bananas there.. so we'll have to take some up and give them out- apparently- that will make us popular!
then the last 2 nights, we'll return to the hotel in the city, and do the tourist thing- sight see, have a few fabulous dinners, walk around in mucklucks, and buy soapstone carvings!!!
i can't wait
Truly- the Candian Experience
FOR SURE, i'll obviously have a billion and 10 pictures up for this one
oh.. but..its not til JULY :(.. but well worth the wait!!!
