My compilation

this took me nearly 3 hours to compile about 55 outfits out of several basic tops and bottoms. I've posted just a few pictures. I'm putting them into a photo album, and now i know what i can wear everyday, with just a few items from my closet!... jealous??????? Posted by Picasa

My father..

I think my dad is starting to get discouraged with my plans of being a teacher. He is very encouraging of me to go to teacher's college, but.. he took the time to pick this up for me to "browse through" and "consider".. i'm considering it.. trust me Posted by Picasa

OUCH!

So i've been trying to play really hard in soccer these past couple of weeks..and its not working out- i just keep getting hurt and thought i'd share. Here are my feet.. unfortunately I happen to be right footed....... kicking isn't so fun anymore Posted by Picasa

She's a Shiner

Check out the huge disgusting bruise on my left leg- i think the bone is popping out. Alright its not that bad- just a big hit on Friday night..But i thought it was kind of cool so I posted it Posted by Picasa

The Original Venus

I meant to put this picture in after the next post- but i'd forgot. This is a fresco, painted back in circa 1st Century AD- pretty cool. This is an earlier version of Botticelli's. I also got to see the original in Pompeii, Italy.. The city that became ruins after Mt Vesuvius errupted covering the entire city and people in lava.. super cool. Plus you can even see bodies encased in the hardened lava at Pompeii. P.s I climbed Mt. Vesuvius- it was weird to be at the top, unable to imagine how something that seemed so calm and serene, could have caused such a catastrophic event. Posted by Picasa

The Birth of Venus

Here is a picture of my bed.. and on the wall is my favourite painting in the entire world- The Birth Of Venus by Sandro Botticelli circa 1485-ish. This HUGE print is like.. as tall as me, though the dimensions that appear here might suggest otherwise. Fortunately I got to see the real one, which is located at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. Posted by Picasa

S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y NIGHT

This is a picture of the bar- like.. MAYBE 1/10th of it.. and MAYBE 1/100th of the people that were at this damn dump tonight. I like the bar's atmosphere, its located right near the lake, its large, a very nice patio.. But its filled with people who are like.. barfing waiting in line, and people with fake ids. Although, if you go with a lot of fun people, then it can be endless amounts of fun Posted by Picasa

Check out amy's shoulder.. That afternoon, we'd spent the day at the beach. Amy sat holding her shoulder for obviously a few minutes which left her with a hand print burn! p.s i told her to wear sunscreen Posted by Picasa

Amy and I- having a SUPER FANTASTIC time Posted by Picasa

Brazil V. Australia

So Brazil and Australia are obviously both out- but here is a picture I found that was taken when they played each other

Scooby Doo- lifeguard dog

Lifeguard Dog

This is my sister in her new almost-caftan that she made the morning of this picture. And yep- thats scooby doo in a life jacket.. for dogs! how fuN! scooby swims ALOT in the pool and when he gets tired alot of water goes up his nose and mouth. My sister and I - being the lifeguards that we are- feared he may drown if not properly supervised. Now we can rest with ease while he swims with his new life jacket! Posted by Picasa

Rain Storm

Last week we had scary thunderstorms with TONS of rain. If you look really closely you can actually see the rain falling. Pretty cool huh?- not so cool for teaching swimming lessons though :( Posted by Picasa

New Front Walk

Our new front walk on the rainest day of the year. My dad and the gardener spent nearly a month doing up the front yard. Its completely amazing- equipped with a ramp off to the left for those who aren't feeling up to walking on the stones. Posted by Picasa
